# How are micro-deposits monitored?

> Micro-deposits are strictly monitored by Plaid, Synctera does not handle them.

Plaid's bank pushes two credits and a debit to the end-customers account, and then in the Synctera app, via the Plaid UI, the end-customer can confirm that they saw it on their bank.
